day 28 - an apple a day...

:) and here we are. It was fun, wasn't it? I loved every day of it, lack of sleep and all. Every day was rewarding and this doesn't happen very often . I am happy I have been part of this again and I am looking forward to next year's Thing-a-day, too. Thank you all for making February such a good month! Before I end up thanking my mother and everyone I know, so-Academy-Awards-like, let me introduce you to the happiest apple-with-worm (well, yeah, this time and this time only, it is a worm and not a caterpillar).
See you around, falks!

day 27 - making of...

I cannot believe that this is coming to an end already. This year I found it less difficult to go through with it. It was a full, fun and rewarding month. But more cheesy stuff tomorrow. Today I worked on my ladybugs army, I finished and delivered them. I am happy some ladies will get them on March 1st and maybe some will wear them. I took pictures along the way. It shows how I started by day and finished by night (although I enhanced the brightness in Photoshop - it is the only thing I can do in Photoshop, along with making pictures smaller ).

day 26 - ladybugs and sleep deprivation

These are going to be 80 ladybugs. And that's me, working and abandoning the battle due to sleep deprivation . Thank God for the week-end! I'll be back with comments as soon as I have slept ( I woke up to post this and I am going back) and finished the ladybugs army. See ya!

day 25 - trinkets

Too tired to add any other comment to the title. They are in the oven now :).

day 23 - caterpillars

A bunch of caterpillars that are going to be turned into trinkets. More to come, rainbow-colored.

day 21 - yumminess

I put this on TAD because I improvised it along the way, so I guess it's creative (besides being too yummy to put into words). I had cheese, mushrooms, onions and cream. And some polenta from yesterday. What to do?
The second picture shows the food before being put in the oven, the first one shows it fresly removed from the oven and the third one shows my plate, seconds before I ate it all.
Bon apetit!

day 20 - strawberry fields forever

It's getting hard to be someone but it all works out.
It doesn't matter much to me..."

day 19 - caged

Remember my first Thing-a-Day from last year? It was a cage around a pretty little green bird, my favourite bird of all. Well...today, like some other days from time to time, is like this: caged. With no particular reason.

day 18 - tiny - tinier - the tiniest

Today I had the urge to play with fimo (or other polymeric clay for that matter) and, remembering the tiny birdies I've made last year and inspired by Moni who made a 5 mm paper star, I created a birdie 9 mm long. It seemed pretty tiny but I knew I could do better. The second one turned out 7.5 mm long (I cannot say 7 but I don't agree with 8 either ). And, as I felt confident (it's something in the air today, I tell you!), the third one is 6 mm. And, thank God, I stopped there (my husband offered to find the magnifying glass ). I managed not to burn the little things so, here they are, in the poor night light (I hate that I cannot take pictures during daytime).

PS: Kimberly, I hope you get to see them .
